About Qtyni

Qtyni is a free URL shortening service. It turns a long web address into a short one that is easier to share, and shows the visitor a preview of the destination before they continue.

Who operates this site

Qtyni is built and operated by an independent developer. It is not affiliated with any other shortening service.

How the service works

Shortening requires no account and collects no personal information about the person creating a link. Links expire automatically after the period chosen at creation, between one and twelve months, and are then permanently deleted.

Opening a short link shows a page that names the destination and counts down before offering a Continue button. That page is deliberately not an automatic redirect: a visitor always sees where a link leads before following it.

A link may be protected with a four-digit code. The code is stored only as a cryptographic hash and cannot be recovered.

To report a link that is illegal, deceptive, or harmful: abuse@qtyni.com

Please include the short code so the link can be identified. Reported links are reviewed and may be removed without notice; removal takes effect immediately for everyone, because the redirect page is never cached.
